History

Global Solar Access’s roots trace back to 2008 when, doing business as Accessolar, we traveled to Nicaragua to assist a local company with some solar installations around the countryside.  During the 3 months volunteer trip GSA’s founder, Brian Clark, also met up with a local organization that was building their own solar panels.  In awe at the simultaneous simplicity and complexity of building your own solar panels, Brian Clark vowed to bring this technology with him to developing countries worldwide and we have been teaching our solar panel workshops around the world ever since.
