Global Solar Access relies on the support and good will of everyone to make these workshops happen.  The best way to make an impact and support the cause is by making small donations.  All you have to do is click the “donate” button at the right and follow the necessary steps to help the cause.

These donations pay for the airfare to make it possible for the GSA instructors to reach the remote workshops.  Everyone here at GSA is a volunteer so we have a very low operational budget.  This means your donation goes directly to the workshops and not to the “administration” fees that dominate many larger organizations.

All donors – of any amount – will receive our quarterly newsletter and will stay informed of all of our upcoming trips!  Thanks for your support!

In addition, Global Solar Access is always in search of new, energetic volunteers to help us achieve our mission.  Since our offices are located in Hawai’i, the main way that most of our volunteers can help is with outreach and marketing.

We are always looking for ideas for where to hold our future workshops.  We want to work with active organizations in developing countries and prefer organizations that work directly with rural, indigenous communities where electricity is sparse and expensive.  If you are familiar with such an organization that would benefit from one of our workshops don’t hesitate to contact us!

We hope to have volunteers on the ground in Africa and Oceania in the near future but we are still working out some logistics before making this a reality.  Check back soon for updates.
